MY CONTRIBUTION

Built the end-to-end product across Expo mobile experiences, Node.js and MongoDB services, real-time communication, cloud identity and media, and integrated AI capabilities.

THE HARD PART

Coordinating personalized discovery, rich onboarding, messaging, social features, assistant behavior, privacy, and production delivery while keeping the proprietary compatibility logic protected.

WHAT SHIPPED

Built resumable onboarding, profile and preference management, personalized discovery, match decisions, mutual-match creation, and multilingual mobile journeys.
Implemented real-time chat and unread state, community activity, engagement and rewards flows, protected media handling, and operational notifications.
Integrated AI-assisted profile creation, conversation support, and personal guidance with structured validation, safety controls, recovery paths, and usage telemetry.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

React Native, Expo, React Navigation, and React Query support the shared iOS and Android experience, including camera, location, secure storage, and localization.
Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and Mongoose provide authenticated service boundaries for profiles, onboarding, discovery, communication, social activity, rewards, and assistance.
Socket.IO, AWS Cognito, S3, Docker, GitHub Actions, EC2, Nginx, and Expo EAS support real-time behavior, cloud services, deployment, and mobile delivery.
